The Role's Primary Objective:

Reserving and booking airline tickets
Completing all import/export paperwork in accordance with the guidelines of the pertinent local and international bodies.
Minimum Requirements
At least five years of experience as an export controller in the importation and/or exportation of perishable air freight.
Outstanding knowledge of the freight forwarding industry and associated employment needs.
Understanding of geography and familiarity with the routes and capabilities of airlines.
Great organizational and persuasive abilities.
Proficiency in communicating effectively with clients and airlines via phone and email.
A focus on details and the capacity to perform well under duress.
The capacity for leadership.
Responsibilities and duties
All export paperwork is processed and issued, including the AWB, SAD, Phytosanitary certificate, PPECB, COO's, and more.
As per rate agreements, airline reservations are made.

Daily monitoring of deliveries
Keeping customers informed about the progress of their deliveries
Daily planning for warehouse and delivery
Keeping the warehouse informed about pickups and deliveries
