Description
OBJECTIVE
The function is to supervise and carry out the technical aspects of a tailings project, including site preparation, plan and design application, resource management, project development monitoring, and communication with subcontractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of Functions and Business
Confirm that operational execution is consistent with manufacturing results.
Effective project implementation
Contract, Commercial, and Financial Management
Manage, oversee, and regulate the cost, materials, and equipment, and put cost-effective strategies into practice
Handle the contract efficiently in accordance with business considerations
Manage all contractual and commercial commitments in accordance with the budget.
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) responsibility, compliance, and risk management
Carry out the company's ESG mandate, social responsibility, and legislative compliance, and keep an eye on it.
Stakeholder Management (internal and external)
Promote continuous dialogue with client representatives, such as the Resident Engineer and other important internal mine stakeholders, through suitable forums and interfaces in order to develop positive connections.
Manage critical interfaces with operations, local communities, and client contractors.
Project and Operations Management
responsible for the operational implementation of all tasks through teams of workers and subcontractors
Create and keep track of weekly and monthly plans for your work or certain aspects of it.
Gather daily journals and job schedules
Create brief daily plans that include resources and are permitted.
Manage Reporting and the Operating System
Implement appropriate controls at the moment of execution to notify management information and take immediate remedial action if there are deviations from the plan.
Make sure the information for reporting is accurate and comprehensive.

Management of SHEQ
Supervise the execution of the Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality plans as well as compliance.

ELIGIBILITY
A diploma or BTech in metallurgy, industrial, or civil engineering is beneficial.
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of three years' experience in a tailing's and remining management environment.
Ideally, a production supervision capacity of two years.
NECESSARY QUALITIES, SKILLS, AND CAPACITIES
Thorough understanding of the tailings, production, and mining industries
Understanding of the national laws, regulations, and bylaws pertaining to the tailings environment
practical and technological abilities
A firm grasp of the techniques and procedures used in deposition, remining, water, load, and haul
Pay close attention to the details.
