Administrator: Transportation and Logistics Planning

As our next Logistics and Transport Administrator, you will have a role in determining how commodities are transported and how that affects people's lives. Get yourself into a position where accuracy and intention intersect.
Position Objective: To offer administrative and operational support to the Supply Chain Planning & Logistics function inside CHEP SSA, with a focus on the Logistics Planning and Transportation functions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Duties
Onboarding a vendor
Blue Yonder Training and Vendor Support
Getting and handling transportation quotes
Making a Purchase Order
Packages of transportation documents covering cross-border travel
Roll out and implementation of Transporter scorecards
Fiori queries and issue resolution with self-billing
Assistance with every logistical payment process (All payment issues)
Truck distribution and CNPD activities
Keep an eye on the lead time report.
The capacity to respond quickly to the needs of both internal and external clients in a timely way.
The capacity to take initiative, be autonomous, and be driven by oneself.
Superior verbal and written communication abilities; the capacity to convey/present information to workers at all levels.
When team members are on leave, offer cross-functional help.
Assist the Supply Chain Planning & Logistics team with essential duties as needed.
Answering and/or guiding customer inquiries
Ideal Qualification & Experience
Requirements:
Crucial for Grade 12
Beneficial is a diploma in business commerce or supply chain management.
Experience
3–5 years in an administrative support position, preferably in a high-intensity logistics, operations, or supply chain setting
Knowledge and Abilities
Microsoft Office/ Computer Literate
Setting Priorities and Making Plans
