Overview of Responsibilities:
To assist with the execution of complicated oil and gas and petrochemical projects in Saudi Arabia, a major worldwide contractor is looking for a skilled Instrumentation Engineer. The position entails thorough engineering assessment, on-site monitoring, and technical coordination of all instrumentation and control systems.
Primary Duties:
Analyze and comprehend data sheets, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, P&IDs, and instrumentation design plans.
Oversee and evaluate the installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of field instruments, analyzers, control valves, and DCS/PLC systems.
Make sure you adhere to international and project-specific regulations, such as ISA, IEC, API, and NEC.
Back up procurement activities by analyzing vendor papers, technical bid evaluations, and interface coordination.
Help with the creation and assessment of material submissions, method statements, and ITBs for instrumentation tasks.
During pre-commissioning and commissioning, do loop checks, functional testing, interlock verification, and control system troubleshooting.
Verify that all paperwork, calibration certificates, test results, and as-built drawings are produced correctly.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address technical challenges and guarantee the prompt delivery of the I&C scope.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
Basic Needs:
A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or instrumentation.
10 years of expertise in instrumentation and control engineering, preferably in the oil and gas or refinery industries.
A solid understanding of process automation, fire and gas systems, field instrumentation, and control systems.
Able to read loop schematics, hookup diagrams, and instrument data sheets with ease.
Comprehensive understanding of pertinent industry standards and regulations (ISA, IEC, API, etc.).
Outstanding communication skills in English and the capacity to thrive in a diverse setting.:APPLY
