A description of the event
The job's purpose
Take charge of the maintenance of all PEP web channels, including WhatsApp, the Intranet, and the website. Effectively manage requests from departments for product and content updates, as well as execute our SEO plan to boost organic traffic.
Main Responsibilities
Web content management
maintenance, enrichment and product merchandising
Handling the content on the website
SEO
Create and put into practice SEO strategies to increase organic traffic across websites.
Web channel optimization. This will consist of:
To uncover customer demands and create disruptive digital experiences that generate new opportunities, perform in-depth research.
Reporting, monitoring, and web analytics
Project Management and Web Products
Product management at the front end (covering everything from ideation to execution)
Handle the budget for releases, the backlog, and the front-end web channel
Online performance and e-commerce:
optimization of online and e-commerce goal performance
manage the demands of the business, such as targets, KPIs, etc., that are generated by online channels.
managing relationships
Work with the larger teams to create and launch new website functionality.
Manage partners like web designers, developers, and outside agencies to make sure all roadmap needs are fulfilled and delivered.
prerequisites
Necessary Skills, Knowledge, and Competencies
Tertiary Qualification: A degree or diploma in SEO, web, or digital-related fields
Experience of 3–5 years in a job similar to that of a Web or SEO Manager.
Verified, demonstrated, and proven SEO experience
Retail experience will be beneficial.
extensive lists of product merchandising experience and online content
knowledge of Product Information Management (PIM).
Prior experience optimizing online content for search engine optimization (SEO)
Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics will be a plus.
experience and understanding of Agile methods (scrum) and labor practices.
Understanding of Javascript, HTML, and CSS
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
previous expertise using a CMS (Content Management System), such as WordPress, Magento, or Shopify
Knowledge of how to improve conversion rates
Understanding and interpretation of Website performance evaluation and optimization
Knowledge of online/cyber security
The capacity for conducting research
