Position Overview:

As a Technical Engineer (Renewable Energy), you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team, working on complex and modern projects.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead technical factors of complicated hybrid solar PV and BESS on systems for commercial and industrial region tasks consisting of design, specification, procurement, installation, commissioning and O&M
Conduct web page assessments, feasibility studies, and technical due diligence
Design and engineer solar hybrid PV and BESS systems to maximise energy production, efficiency, and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional groups to make certain task success, including procurement, construction, and high-quality control
Provide technical training and assist during and after undertaking execution
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines
Troubleshoot and unravel technical challenges as they arise

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector
• Proven track record in the design and successful implementations of complex hybrid solar PV and BESS systems for the commercial and industrial sectors
• Proficient in design software and tools commonly used in the industry, such as Helioscope, PVSyst, and Homer
• Knowledge of local and international codes and regulations related to renewable energy
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage and lead projects and technical teams

How you´ll help us:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will

Support customers by training, providing application engineering services and general technical consultancy in solar photovoltaic inverters, energy storage systems and EV chargers

Develop and maintain strong and synergetic relationships with key stakeholders in Solplanet´s distributor, installer and/or EPC network.

Collaborate with the sales teams to maintain customer relationships, gain customer trust and strengthen customer loyalty

Deliver online or onsite training to customers such as distributors and installers.

Establish and maintain knowledge of current and upcoming local regulatory requirements related to Solplanet products

Leverage your technical know-how and insight into the competitive landscape to proactively provide feedback/suggestions to Product Management to enhance Solplanet's product roadmap.

Work closely with Solplanet's service teams and service partners in EMEA to assist our customers in the after-sales phase.

 Requirements

 Your background and skills:

Bachelor or above technical degrees, preferably in electrical engineering, renewable energy, photovoltaic engineering, or similar disciplines. Proficient in local language and business  English.

In-depth knowledge of  technical requirements for photovoltaics, energy storage systems and electric vehicle chargers in the distribution and/or utility segment, including product specifications, grid code requirements , landscape competitiveness, bidding requirements,  etc.

Ability to work independently and focused in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Quick learner and desire to deepen knowledge in the field of renewable energy.

Previous professional experience in a photovoltaic-related industry is not essential but would be an advantage.  Your Attributes:
