Description of the position

The goal of this position is to manage, run, and maintain every component of a mobile manufacturing facility in accordance with AECI's established standards and procedures in order to satisfy customer needs.

• With the standards and procedures established by AECI, managing and running every facet of a mobile manufacturing unit (MMU) to fulfill client needs.

• Perform routine inspections in accordance with SABS and World Class on fixed plants and MMUs to find non-conformances and implement preventative measures as well as to achieve continuous improvement.

• Help minimize all waste sources and manage operating expenses within the budget limits.

• Aid in making sure that the area fulfills its financial obligations as specified in the annual budget.

• Aid in plugging or halting charged holes.

• As necessary, carry out routine maintenance on the MMU.

• Make sure that only high-quality goods are delivered.

• Keeping vehicle records in the MMU's.

• To guarantee that MMU's are sent for service in accordance with maintenance schedules.

• To make certain that the monthly maintenance is performed to a World Class standard.

• To maintain the cleanliness of MMU at all times.

• To help FSS in maintaining up-to-date licensing and roadworthiness of MMUs.

Skills & Background

• At least grade 12 or its equivalent.

• It is imperative to have a valid Code EC driver's license (please include a copy of your driver's license with your application).

• The applicants must be able to get a Red Ticket and a PrDP.

• A talent for mechanics.

• Must pass the Psychomotor evaluation
