Description

OBJECTIVE

The purpose of this job is to guarantee the safe and efficient construction of numerous concrete buildings in a construction context.

RESPONSIBILITIES

According to standard operating procedures and practice notes, work with resources and equipment in a cost-effective manner, as instructed by your line manager.

As necessary, help QS with on-site measurements and recordings.

Accountable for the operational implementation of their assigned tasks by carrying out their own responsibilities and duties, as well as monitoring the team's work throughout their shift.

Follow all reporting and informational needs as determined by the Site Agent.

Verify the quantities and drawings and make sure the computations for the job are correct.

Provide the Site Agent with information to help with client communication.

Talk to Team Leaders / Operators on site about performance, methods, progress, and quality.

To guarantee the company meets its responsibilities, carry out all obligations in accordance with SHEQ laws, procedures, and regulations.

Keep a record of real advancement against the program for their team and work location.

Keep the project manager/site agent updated on the progress of the job.

Make sure that all documents and posters are placed on the wall of the site office and that they are current.

Demands

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 (Matric)/National Senior Certificate.

Having a supervisor training certificate would be beneficial.

EXPERIENCE

Experience of at least five years in a construction setting.

Technical sketches.

understanding of building supplies and machinery.
