Job Summary
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is constantly searching for casual cashiers for its Kyalami Corner outlets. A strategic talent pool's goal is to have a pre-screened, readily available pool of people with certain abilities, credentials, or traits that make them a good fit for potential employment prospects inside Dis-Chem Pharmacies.
The role's goal:
Provide excellent customer service at the point of sale while also making sure the purchasing experience is top-notch. With zero tolerance for errors and elimination of fraud risk, customer transactions should be documented on the Dis-Chem operating system in accordance with business policies and standard operating procedures.
Crucial:
Matriculation / Grade 12
at least six months of experience working as a cashier or till operator
Competent in computers and MS Office
Strong numerical abilities
a firm grasp of the English language
Fundamental customer service

Job Description:
Follow the customer care policies and procedures of Dis-Chem.
Develop a courteous business connection with clients.
Report customer compliments and complaints to the Frontline Supervisor or store management.
Use the hourly rate for customer turnover.
Keep an eye on recent deals and offers
Make certain that coworkers and clients are not in danger.
Implement and oversee the five-star communication standards of Dis-Chem
Take care of cash flow
Verify that the supervisor approves and signs off on any price adjustments and line voids.
Exchange goods for clients and, when permitted, take returned items from customers.
Handle every transaction by accepting and processing every form of payment (cash, bank cards, vouchers, coupons, and other methods) permitted by Dis-Chem.
Treat all loyalty cards, including those belonging to our accelerator partners (Discovery Health Care, Medihelp Lifestage, Momentum Multiply, Legacy Lifestyle, ABSA Rewards, and eBucks).
Make sure cash is put into drop safes in accordance with Dis-Chem's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Make sure that your code and password may only be used by you, that it is secure, and that it is updated often.
Make sure that every outgoing piece of stock, item, and script is scanned and paid for.
Make certain that every cent is kept securely within the cash register.
Keep daily receipts private and only speak with administration about them.
Recognize and report questionable conduct to management.
Ask questions about the items sold in the store.
