 Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

1. B Tech or BSc Honours in Medical Microbiology, Virology or another related and relevant field.
2. Possess a valid HPCSA registration.

Minimum Experience

1. 2 years’ working experience in a diagnostic or research laboratory setting.
2. Experience in processing and storage of various biological samples and performing various diagnostic tests.
3. Knowledge of operating in a SANAS accredited laboratory (ISO 15189 or similar) and or Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) compliant.

Advantageous

1. Experience of working in a high throughput laboratory.
2. Experience of working with a Laboratory Information Management System.
